Collection of used textiles for recycling

Stan Vert invites you to take part in a major collection of used clothing, shoes and textiles, organized by the Supers Recycleurs. The collection will take place at Collège Stanislas on Friday, November 24.

The Supers Recycleurs will sort the donations and distribute them to their partners.

• . Recoverable clothing goes to organizations helping the underprivileged, as well as to certain Quebec designers who give it a second life.
• . Clothing and textiles with stains or holes are resold for recycling.

For every kilogram recovered, the Collège receives $0.25. The funds raised will be used to purchase building materials for a community project developed by Collège students in Costa Rica from February 18 to 27, 2018.

Information to remember:

When? Friday, November 24, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where? Cour Lajoie, next to 740 boul. Dollard
What to donate? All textiles: clothing, handbags, scarves, hats, gloves, furs, shoes, sheets, comforters, cushions, towels, curtains, fabrics, scraps, leather accessories, etc.
Why donate? Because it's a green, community-minded gesture!
